Why choose The Glasgow Treatment Rooms?

01

Experienced Therapists

We have over 60 years combined experience between our highly qualified massage therapists. Unlike some clinics, we don’t have therapists coming and going ever other month, meaning you can build a great therapeutic relationship with your chosen therapist for years to come.

02

Convenient Location

Located slap bang in the centre of Glasgow right next door to Queen Street station and Buchanan Street Subway and just 5 minutes walk from Central Station and multiple car parks we are probably the most central located massage studio in Glasgow.

03

Relaxing Environment

Unlike some massage rooms that feel small and cluttered, our treatment rooms are spacious, relaxing and professional. We have a small, quiet waiting area available too if you arrive early or want to escape the hustle and bustle on the streets outside.

Elizabeth is just lovely! Always making you feel comfortable, the room is always cosy and the building is nice and quiet so always a great environment for a massage. Good chat and happier shoulders – I will always recommend her!

The massage felt totally professional! I was comfortable at all times, my body felt better for it and I would recommend it. It was a really good massage, focused exactly where I requested in a lovely setting. I will definitely be going back before the marathon.

Laura is amazing. I’ve been seeing her once a month for a while now and she’s completely gotten rid of my tension headaches. Always lovely to talk to aswell. And on more than one occasion I’ve found it so relaxing that I’ve dozed off.

Initially visited Trevor for problems with my hip. I had seen various consultants and had 4 steroid injections in 2 years. After visiting Trevor my hip movement is amazing and my pain is negligible. Still continue to visit Trevor as his skills make my day to day life easier. Feel so much better after every visit.

Shelagh’s great, good to chat to while she’s working on your muscles and did a really good job working out the knots and talking through what was going on with my body!

I have been coming for massage here for at least ten years. I have sometimes tried to change and go elsewhere due to working outside Glasgow but never received the same quality of treatment. Trevor listens to your needs, and puts them into actions. Never found someone as good as him.

Most clients book a 60-minute massage, but a 90-minute session may offer the best treatment experience.

Some of our therapists also offer 120-minute massage sessions.

A 60-minute massage is perfect for focusing on a specific area, such as the back, neck, and shoulders, or the legs and feet.

A 90-minute massage is ideal for a full-body treatment without feeling rushed, leaving you feeling amazing.

A 120-minute massage is perfect for a thorough full-body treatment that also includes focused attention on a specific area.

For help with injuries and recovery, it might seem instinctive to book a longer session, but you’ll often find that a series of shorter sessions can be more beneficial.

If you’re new to massage, it can often be confusing to know what to wear, what to take off during the treatment, and how you’ll be covered during the session.

Most people wear their normal clothing to their massage session. If you’re unsure, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.

During your massage, you’ll usually undress to your underwear. If you’re only getting your upper body massaged, you may choose to keep your legs clothed. Some women keep their bra on, while others remove it. Please do whatever feels most comfortable for you.

You will be draped during your massage. Only the area being massaged will be undraped at any point.

Unlike many therapists who use bath towels, we use large cotton sheets and blankets for draping. This ensures you always feel comfortably covered, and your modesty is our highest priority.

You are welcome to talk with your therapist throughout your massage or be silent it is totally up to you.

You don’t have to do either and we will not pressure you to be quiet or to talk.

It’s very unlikely you’ll actually fall asleep during your massage but many people will skirt along the edge of sleep or let their mind drift and wander.

This is totally normal and you will still receive the amazing benefits of your massage whether you’re focused on the treatment or drifting off on cloud 9.
